ROBERT JAMES BLUES BAND Biography
The Robert James Blues Band is based in the south of Italy (Naples, Campania). Robert James Ucciero the founder of the group was born in London (UK) and at the age of 18 moved to Italy where a part from learning the italian language dedicated his time to music.
In September 2017 Robert James decided to dedicate himself to a new blues project, the Robert James Blues Band. After only a one month, the first gigs were already in program. (October 2017), continuing in November 2017 where some initial concerts in the nearby pubs started to get to know the band. Today there first pubs that believed in the Robert James Blues Band are considered home. (Labyrinth & The Golden Pot).

The band now after this first season, has already reached a very important step stone, and is recognized and respected by blues lovers and the general public that has followed the gigs.

The best of blues, from B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Clapton, Albert Collins and many others all played with passion in the one band.
The Robert James Blues Band is an English (LONDONER) blues band, and all the concerts, gigs and events are mainly spoken in english bringing to the event a real british (Londoner) experience.
On the 26th July, 2018 Robert James Blues Band won the Dogana Blues Village, a blues festival (Dogana Blues Festival, Flumeri). Competing with other blues bands and were for the first time to be judged by blues men.
The band has made so many steps forward since the beginning, with still so much to do to grow even more.
With the passion that Robert James and the band have, there are no limits to where they can arrive.
From September 2018, the band will be once again on the go to bring the blues as far as they can.

In 2019, the band continued playing blues all around Campania but also started going further away from home.
In June 2019 the Robert James Blues Band took place for the first time at one of the most nominated and popular blues festivals of south italy, South Italy Blues Connection at Matera, where they played along side 70 other bands from all over italy.
Also at the end of June 2019, the band to part of the Dogana Blues Festival once agian, but this time as one of the main events of the evenging, enjoying an excellent experience on such a wonderful stage.
In 2020 the Robert James Blues Band, went on growing and playing in even more venues around the south of Italy, inserting also Lazio and Molise.

Robert James in 2020 created the Blues Highway.it, giving publicity to blues bands from all around Italy, this facebook page /group has now grown and covers all of Italy becoming a real window for all blues bands.
In August 2020 Robert James (Blues Highway) has become part of the Campania Blues Festival one of the most important blues festivals in the sound of Italy and main festival in Campania. Robert James will bring various bands from all of Italy to play their blues on the amazing stage of Arena Del Mare (Salerno).

Robert James will not only present the event, but the Robert James Blues Band is house band of the festival and will be playing on both nights 8th and 9th August.
